Tá fáilte romhat chuig S.N. Cill na Leac. We are situated in the village of Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan. Kilnaleck National School was built in 1970 and opened in 1971, the school was extended and refurbished in 2012.
Our vision is to develop knowledge in every pupil, empowering them to meet the challenges of life now and in the future. As a school community we aim to be warm and welcoming, respectful and accommodating of diversity in race, culture, religion, gender and ability.
As a Christian community through the promotion of the Catholic faith we aim to assist young people to develop a moral compass to navigate the world around them. We aim to promote equality and support pupils with special educational needs in an inclusive learning environment.
Our wish is to enable every child to reach their full potential in a happy and inspiring learning environment.
Our school motto “Mol an Óige agus Tiocfaidh Siad” (praise the youth and they will prosper) is embedded in every action we take as a school community for the good of our pupils.
